Our Background
Campaign Resources
This page provides candidates with the official resources, tools, and event information needed to navigate the SGA elections process. From creative support and campus making spaces to key campaign events, these resources are designed to promote equity, clarity, and responsible campaigning. Candidates are expected to review all materials prior to the start of the campaign season.

Innovation Lab
The Arthur M. Blank Spelman Innovation Lab is a campus makerspace available for candidates creating campaign materials. The lab provides access to tools such as 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC routers, scanners, and traditional hand tools that support creative experimentation and prototyping. Candidates may use the lab at their discretion to develop posters, displays, or other approved campaign materials. The Innovation Lab is located on the second floor of the CIA Building.
Poster Party marks the official kickoff of the SGA campaign season. At the stroke of midnight, candidates may begin posting campaign materials across campus. This event serves as both a celebratory launch and a communal moment for student engagement, featuring music and shared space as candidates unveil their campaigns. Poster Party reinforces visibility, participation, and excitement at the start of the election process.
The Creatives Board is a team of student creatives available to support candidates during campaign season. This group includes photographers, graphic designers, and editors who help produce accessible, eye-catching campaign materials. The Creatives Board is designed to promote equity by ensuring all candidates have access to high-quality visual content, regardless of experience or resources. Candidates applying to serve on the Creatives Board are not eligible to run in the upcoming election cycle.
